Kanye West reckons making a fashion faux pas is like getting a prostitute pregnant.
Kanye has been dipping his toe into the fashion world again, launching his range of Yeezy Boost trainers with Adidas at New York fashion week last month.
He’s also been haunting the FROW with wife Kim Kardashian during Paris Fashion Week.
We know Kanye makes some pretty ‘out there’ statements, so prepare to roll your eyes again.
In an interview with Clique TV (via E! Online) the rapper said making a bad fashion buy is an ‘expensive mistake’.
Talking about purchasing designer products, he said: ‘When I was young, I was really scared to walk into luxury stores, too. It’s very non-inviting and it’s very expensive.
‘Like, f**k if you’re not knowledgeable you can make a very expensive mistake—an extremely, like, it’s bordering on getting a prostitute pregnant or something like that.’
He added, laughing: ‘An expensive mistake like that when you buy a jacket.’
At least he finds himself funny, bless him.
