May’D was billed to perform
alongside the Duo, Psquare and Akon at the recently concluded festival Calabar.
As May’D arrived at Calabar airport on the same flight with P-Square.
Troubles was in the air, when he
looked lonely walking alone, left in separate cars and were lodged in separate
hotels.
So, the show started with J-Martins
replacing May-D on the bill, with people asking questions of his whereabouts.
According to information gathered
from the organizers “He wasn’t paid his balance and decided to pull out”.
However, another source says,
“When May-D was put on the list of performing artistes, the organizers didn’t
know he wasn’t with Square records anymore.
So, P-square on getting to
Calabar, informed the organizers on the latest development.
When Akon and P-square performed
“chop my money” May-D’s part had been yanked off.
