Are YOU Making New Year Resolutions?

I always make the same mistake. Every New Year’s, I get a lot of big ideas about the things I’ll do, and write them all down in a neat list of bullet-points. My lists are long and exhaustive, veering from the specific. They never work. I’m great at making resolutions, but terrible at staying resolute.
I’ve tried paring down the list, making baby steps, making every goal concrete, but nothing seems to help. New Year’s always feels like a day of bluster before a year of self-flagellation for failing to live up to my own expectations.

The most common reason for participants failing their New Years' Resolutions was setting themselves unrealistic goals (35%), while 33% didn't keep track of their progress and a further 23% forgot about it. About one in 10 respondents claimed they made too many resolutions.

President Buhari's New Year Message to Nigerians

Welcome to the beginning of a New Year of the continuation of CHANGE in our beloved nation. I am aware that Nigerians have experienced a number of significant hardships over the past months. Living in the State House has not alienated me from your daily sufferings. I am aware of the lengthy queues at fuel stations and of the difficulties businesses have faced in acquiring foreign exchange.

These challenges are only temporary; we are working to make things better.

When I presented myself to you as a presidential candidate and asked you to vote for me, I wanted to be a leader who keeps his promises. I wanted to be a leader who restores the people's hope in those elected to serve them. I wanted to be a leader who initiates positive and enduring CHANGE.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 TO YOU ALL

May each day of the New Year bring you pleasant surprises like the curled petals of a flower that spread sweet fragrance slowly as it unfolds layer by layer.

May the New Year bring your way plethora of opportunities that allow you to weave success stories.

As the world grows another year older I wish you to have a heart that remains youthful and cheerful New Year and always.

My wishes for you are not restricted to only the following year but rather to every one of the all the years that you live, in this life and beyond. Have a happening New Year ahead.

Settlement Looming with Accuser ... I'm Fighting the Charges ... It's All Political Says Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby is defending a case brought by a female accuser that could be even more serious than the criminal case that was just filed ... but we've learned Cosby and the woman may be close to a secret settlement.
Chloe Goins has sued Cosby for sexual assault, claiming he drugged and sexually abused her at the Playboy Mansion in 2008. Goins filed suit October 6th ... but something curious has happened, or should we say, hasn't happened.
We checked the file and there's been absolutely no activity in the case. In fact, Cosby was never served with the lawsuit. The court requires service within 90 days, which means Chloe is days away from the deadline. If Cosby isn't served, the case will almost certainly be dismissed.
