Rick Ross Issues Statement On Meek Mill Jail Sentence

On Friday, July 11, Meek Mill was hit with a three to six month jail sentence for a parole violation. Maybach Music Group honcho Rick Ross has issued a statement regarding his artists legal struggle. 

Meek should have no worries about whether or not the MMG camp will support him after this step back.

Yesterday (July 12), Rozay sent the following statement to MTV News:

“I created MMG years ago, my desire was to create a space where the most talented artists in the world could be nurtured and supported. With that came a commitment. I vowed to support these artist, through the good and the bad. Every individual signed to MMG is not just an artist, they are my family. And with family you ride, or you die. Yesterday, my brother, Meek Mill ran into some unfortunate legal issues. It happens. However, his team, our team, will continue to execute Meek’s plan as close to schedule as possible. His album is coming. We ask that the fans and the media continue to support him and his music during this time. He’ll be home soon. ‘Dreams Are Worth More Than Money,’ and family is worth more than Everything. MMG FOR LIFE.”

Rick Ross Won’t Respond To 50 Cent After Gay Instagram Post

According to TMZ: 50 Cent may have been hoping to start a blood feud when he publicly insinuated Rick Ross and Diddy were gay lovers … but sources close to Ross tell us there will be NO reprisals.

Sources tell us Ross won’t retaliate for one simple reason — he doesn’t give a crap about 50 Cent or anything he says — he thinks 50 is IRRELEVANT.

50 briefly posted a pic on Instagram Sunday showing Ross leaning in close to Diddy as if they’re about to kiss … with a caption that said, ‘something ain’t right’ — with the clear implication the rappers are gay.

We’re told Rick plans to let it slide … he wants to focus on making hit records … and not on a childish beef with an old enemy.

50 Cent Posts Instagram Photo Intimating That Diddy, Rick Ross, And Steve Stoute Are Gay

According to TMZ reports: 50 Cent raised the stakes in his beef with 3 rap heavyweights — publicly insinuating Diddy, Rick Ross and former record exec Steve Stoute are gay together … but he backed down minutes later. 

The shots were fired Sunday — Fiddy posted the 2 pics on Instagram, one showing a pink-shirted Stoute embracing a pink-shirted Diddy. The other shows Diddy and Rick Ross from an angle that makes it look like they’re kissing.

Underneath, 50 wrote the caption, “I ain’t saying nothing, but something ain’t right. Lmao.” He yanked the pics down a short time later.

The photos were the latest in 50′s ongoing feuds with the rap titans — Stoute recently appeared in a VH1 documentary about hip hop, in which he called 50 a has-been. 50′s been feuding with Rick Ross and Diddy for years.
