I Dumped Circular Music for Gospel Because I Had a Renewed Faith - Obiora Obiwon

Nigerian singer, Obiora Obiwon, came into the Nigerian music industry with some melodious love songs which captivated fans and received massive airplay until NO-One heard from him.

Still doing music which has always been his passion, the singer recently disclosed that he has been doing music but had to leave circular world to make gospel songs.

Gentle as usual with his dance moves, the singer was a guest on popular TVC entertainment show, Entertainment Splash, where he explained that his decision was born out of him wanting to re-brand his faith.

After a successful outing at the “Gold Water Concert”, music minister Obiora Obiwon has released a brand new single entitled Hail My King. The single which is the second track off the Gold Water album features the brightest elite of Nigerian Urban Gospel Frank Edwards, Eben, and Kenny K’ore, all together on one song with Obiora Obiwon himself.

[New Music] Obiora Obiwon Announces New Album Title, Fresh Single Release

OBIORA OBIWON RETURNS WITH “TESTIFY” AS HE CLOCKS 36

The question making rounds around Social Media circles lately has been “Where is Obiwon?”. Finally, it gets an answer on the 9^th of June 2013, the 36^th birthday of the r’n’b-singer-turned-urban-gospel-minister, Obiora Obiwon.

In response to enthusiasts and lovers of his music, Obiwon returns as recording artiste with a techno-infused HipHop song entitled “Testify”. On the song he elicits the help of gospel music elite, Mike Abdul of the Midnight Crew, who adds a fuji-flavoured cameo to the already infectious groove. On the production, Obiora continues to synergize with Phat-E – credited with “Obi Mu O” the original version and the remix and the inspirational “F.a.t.h.e.r 2.0” single. The result is an undeniable jam filled with zest and celebration over strongly spirited but yet simple faith-based lyrics.
