Many have tried and many have failed, but one woman managed to achieve the impossible—she got George Clooney to put a ring on it. That’s right, Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor is officially off the market after proposing to girlfriend Amal Alamuddin.
In true Clooney fashion, there aren’t many known details about the
engagement other than it reportedly happened not long ago and the rock
is huge (no surprise there).
Amal is an accomplished British attorney specializing in
international and was first spotted out and about with the actor in
October 2013. At 36, she’s 16 years George’s junior (fine, we’ll do the
math for you—that makes George 52) and doesn’t have any of her own
Hollywood aspirations.
No word yet on when the pair plan to wed.
