Dr. Dre recently sat down for an interview
providing answers to questions that fans have long wondered. Giving advice on
everything from how to maintain a successful marriage to his thoughts on making
investments, the hip-hop mogul made it clear that he bears the doctor title for
a reason, this man knows his stuff. Additionally mentioning in the chat that he
“doesn’t need any more money,” seems as though Dre’s wise words are worth a
listen.
In an interview with Esquire,
Dr. Dre gave the following answers:
How Long He’s Gone Without Sleep: I’ve gone
seventy-nine hours without sleep, creating. When that flow is going, it’s
almost like a high. You don’t want it to stop. You don’t want to go to sleep
for fear of missing something.
What He Does After He Releases A Record: I
don’t even listen to the records after they come out. It’s outlawed in my
house. My wife and my kids can’t play any of my music around me. Once it comes
out, for me, it’s just business. Numbers.
