Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Covers "Rolling Stone" Magazine


Rolling Stone Cover Controversy: Magazine Issues Statement, Defends "Thoughtful" Coverage: - it features Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and teases how he "became a monster" - the magazine has come out with an online statement.

As an editor's note to the Web version of the story, Rolling Stone writes:

Boston Marathon Bombing: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Claims Innocence


According to The Associated Press, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is up and walking and told his mother in a recent phone conversation that he's innocent of last month's Boston Marathon bombingsThe chat took place last week, with reports confirming that Tsarnaev walked without a wheelchair for the first time since his arrest.
It was also the first and only time he has talked to his mother since he and his brother fled Boston police and helped shut down the city just a few weeks ago.
“He didn’t hold back his emotions, as if he were screaming to the whole world: What is this? What’s happening?” Tsarnaev says of her son's emotional state during the call. Tsarnaev allegedly said he's improving physically, but is struggling to comprehend what's going on.

VIDEO: One Lucky Man Witnesses Boston Marathon Bombing and Texas Plant Explosion


Joe Berti, a software company chief executive and gym owner, witnessed both the Boston bombing and the fertilizer plant explosion last week in Texas. He and his wife were just meters from the finish line in Boston Monday when the bombs - reportedly set by Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother - went off. After flying home to the Lone Star State, he was driving down I-35 when the West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion occurred, peppering his car with debris. In both cases, Berti emerged unscathed, though surely shaken up a bit mentally.

BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING: BOSTON BOMBING SUSPECT 1 DEAD, 2 ON LOOSE

Suspect #1 in the Boston Marathon bombing is dead, following a shootout with cops, suspect #2 is on the loose, and the City is on lockdown as police conduct a massive search.

A law enforcement officer died in process of subduing #1, and Boston residence are now urged to all stay in their homes as the remaining man is sought.  There are reports law enforcement believes #2 has explosives strapped to his body body.
The drama began to unfold Thursday night at around 10:30, with a robbery at a convenience store near MIT.   



FBI Releases Photos and Video of Boston Marathon Bombing Suspects

FBI released photos and Video of two suspects in Monday's Boston Marathon bombings and asked for the public's help identifying them:


FBI Agent Richard DesLauriers said at a news conference that one these two suspects is believed to have planted the devices near the finish line of the race.
