Janet Jackson 'Pregnant With Her First Child' Days Before 50th Birthday

JANET Jackson is reportedly pregnant with her first child two weeks before her 50th birthday.

The Rhythm Nation singer recently announced she was postponing her tour to "plan her family" with husband Wissam Al Mana.

She said: "We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change.

"I thought it was important that you be the first to know.

"My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour.

"Please, if you could try and understand that it's important that I do this now.

"I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

Fans assumed the 49-year-old was pregnant, though she remained quiet on the subject.

But now, according to Entertainment Tonight, a source has confirmed Michael Jackson's sister is expecting her first child.

In 2008, Jackson – who famously suffered a very public wardrobe malfunction on live television – said: "I would love to have children of my own, but I also would love to adopt."

Janet secretly married Al Mana, 41, in 2012 but they didn't confirm the news until early 2013.

This is the star's third marriage following a 1984 wedding with James DeBarge and then one with René Elizondo Jr in 1991.

Al Mana is a Qatar-based businessman with an estimated net worth of $1billion (£69million).
