I really don’t know what went through this man’s head when he decided to paint his face in an apparent effort to get away from the police.
What we do know is that he’s not the kind of man you’d want on your team in a game of competitive hide-and-seek.
Jose Espinoza spray-painted his face black while fleeing from an apparently stolen car.
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t work, and officers caught up to him without much trouble.
‘The camouflage was ineffective,’ the police department wrote on Facebook.
Espinoza was booked at Madera County Jail and is facing charges of receiving stolen property and unlawful taking or driving of a vehicle.
