It's a conscious piece aimed at sensitisation people to the ills of keeping quiet when you have a voice in a society, especially at this time when elections are fast approaching. Interestingly, Tilla who is popular for his hits Pu'Yanga, Koma Roll, Ori Owo and most recently Mawobe, did not only act for the first time in this piece, he also spat a rap verse!
The short movie is made up of different musical compositions and acting from various characters led by Tilla.
The great news however is that, the video hasn't only gotten international recognition, but has also gotten the director Nodash, elected into the famous Berlinale Talent Campus as one of the 300 attendees from all over the world as well as the Berlinale Cinematography Master Class which selects 21 cinematographers also from all over the world.
Both the Talent Campus and the Master Class are owned and conducted by the Berlin International Film Festival which is the largest publicly attended film festival in the world. The festival kicks off in Berlin, Germany today (February 5th) and will close on February 15th.
The attendees this year (Nodash as well) will be receiving training from some of Hollywood’s biggest talents who have worked on movies like: the Hobbit, Man of Steel, Lord of the Rings, Minority Report, Silence of the Lambs, Fight Club, Antichrist, etc...
This is wishing Nodash all the best at the festival.
