Five
people, including two juveniles, are charged in a brutal videotaped rape
that left a teenage Kentucky boy with life-threatening injuries.
Raw Story reports: Two men and two teenage boys were
arrested earlier this week in the sexual assault of the 15-year-old boy Sunday
at a home in Hopkinsville.
Investigators said the teen was treated for a life-threatening infection
after the assailants punctured his colon during the assault and injured his
bladder. The boy remains in intensive care at a Tennessee hospital. The attack was recorded on a cell phone and uploaded to Snapchat.
A third man, 18-year-old Sam Miller, was charged Thursday with first-degree
sodomy, promoting a minor in a sex performance, use of a minor in a sex
performance, and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a
minor. He remains held on $100,000 bond.
Tyler Perry, 19, was charged with first-degree sodomy, tampering with
physical evidence, promoting a sexual performance by a minor, and use of a
minor in a sexual performance, and he remains held on $100,000 bond.
Dayton Jones, 20, was charged with first-degree sodomy, promoting a sexual
performance by a minor, use of a minor in a sexual performance, and
distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. He was held
on $1 million bond.
Two 17-year-old boys were charged in the case. One of the juveniles was
charged with first-degree sodomy and tampering with physical evidence. The
other was charged with possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by
a minor.
Police said additional arrests are expected in the case.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office said four of the suspects assaulted
the teenage boy, videotaped the attack, and shared the video.
