A traditional title holder and resident of the area confirmed the latest development in a text message sent to sahara Reports. The account was further confirmed by a senior military officer.
Fadan Karshi in Sanga local government area, thescene of today’s violence, was also attacked during last month killing spree.
Sources said the assailants arrived at about 5am. Some locals who heard the sound of gunshots immediately fled, but the unlucky ones were hacked to death by the invaders.
There is still no official statement from the police or the military which are carrying out operations in the area.
