10-Year-Old Boy Sentenced Up To 5 Years For Rape And Murder Plot

Wow, so this 10-year-old boy was planning on murdering his girlfriend because she was “rude”…WTF is wrong with the world??

According to NBC News: A 10-year-old Washington state boy was sentenced up to 5 1/2 years in a juvenile detention facility for his role in a foiled plot to rape and kill a girl at his school and harm other children. The boy was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, juvenile firearm possession and witness tampering in connection with a plot in February at an elementary school in Colville, in the state’s northeast. 
 Prosecutors said he pleaded guilty last month to all charges.

An 11-year-old boy accused of joining in the plot is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, possession of a dangerous weapon in the form of a knife at school and tampering with a witness, Rasmussen added.

Kanye West Plans World Tour After Child Birth But Is Kim Kardashian & Baby Coming Along?

Kim Kardashian is furious that her baby daddy boyfriend, Kanye West, is planning to go on an international tour to promote his upcoming album after the reality star gives birth, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

Lawsuits: Rihanna Sues Topshop For $5 Million Over T-Shirts, Bearing Her Image Without Her Consent

Rihanna is suing British retail giant Topshop — chaired by billionaire Sir Philip Green — for $5 million for selling T-shirts bearing her image without her consent. A source exclusively says the superstar’s team had tried to negotiate with Topshop owners Arcadia Group for eight months over the rights to her image, “but they offered her $5,000 and said they don’t care.”

The source said, “Rihanna’s management asked Topshop a number of times to stop selling her image and were told, ‘We do what we want.’ They buy the pictures from a photographer, but they do not pay the artist licensing fees. Unfortunately, UK law does not protect the artist. Rihanna, 25, has hired international law firm Reed Smith to file the suit in London. 

Boko Haram Crisis: Nigeria Military Air Strikes 'Kill Militants'

At least 30 militants have been killed during air raids on their training camps in northeastern Nigeria, An army spokesman said jets and helicopter gunships had been used to attack several camps. He told the BBC that a plane had been hit by anti-aircraft fire but had managed to return to base.

States of emergency were declared this week in three northeastern states hit by Boko Haram's Islamist insurgency. Nigerian forces are trying to regain control in the states of Adamawa, Yobe and Borno. Meanwhile, explosions and gunfire have been heard overnight in Katsina state.

14-Year-Old Killed By Her Boyfriend And Set On Fire Because He Thought She Was Pregnant

Shaniesha Forbes, 14, was killed by her 20 year old boyfriend who then burnt her body and dumped her remains on a beach just because he thought she was pregnant The NY Post is Reporting:

The family of the 14-year-old Brooklyn girl who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend and dumped on a beach blasted him this morning for cowardly slaying her after he thought she was pregnant.

Police had arrested Christian Ferdinand, 20, in Maine on Tuesday, where he had fled after he allegedly suffocated Shaniesha Forbes, 14, and burnt her body before dumping the remains at Gerritsen Beach.

“On the record, she wasn’t pregnant at all. As a 20-year-old man, that is something you could easily find out,” said her devastated cousin Kerry-Anne Thomas. “You had the courage and the balls to kill her and bring her body, and lay her on the beach. But you couldn’t go to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test to find out if it was actually true.”

Nigerian Air Force Set for Strikes Against Boko Haram

Nigeria’s military said Thursday that it was ready to launch air strikes against Boko Haram Islamists as several thousand troops moved to the remote northeast to retake territory seized by the insurgents. The operation follows President Goodluck Jonathan’s decision to a impose a state of emergency in all three areas as he admitted that Boko Haram had “taken over” territory in the northeast and declared war against the government.

The Islamists, who have said they are fighting to create an Islamic state in Nigeria’s mainly Muslim north, have become emboldened and better armed in recent months. The operation is the largest against Boko Haram since 2009, when soldiers flooded Borno’s capital Maiduguri, killing more than 800 people and forcing the insurgents. The Boko Haram conflict is estimated to have cost 3,600 lives since 2010, including killings by the security forces.
