Kim Kardashian & Kanye West: Smuggled Through Airport Security!

Note to random employee at JFK airport: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may pose like Jesus.

But they aren't actually gods that deserve special treatment, okay?

The couple touched down in New York following their trip to Brazil, only to find themselves at the center of a TSA investigation because an airline greeter rushed them past a checkpoint in order to speed up their boarding process.

Once Kardashian and West took their seats on a flight bound for Los Angeles, they were pulled off and forced to go through security again, delaying the flight about an hour.

We actually can't make fun of Kimye for a change this time. The TSA confirms to the Celebrity website TMZ that this was an employee error:

"An airline employee escorted the two travelers through a non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight.

In doing so, the airline employee violated security protocols by permitting the travelers to by-pass the TSA security checkpoint. TSA officials learned of the violation and conducted a private screening of the two passengers in the area of the Jet way.
