40 Year Old Woman Set To Marry Her 23 Year Old Son

Betty Mbereko, a widowed woman is set to marry her son.  

The woman and her son say  in love they are  with each other and now they want to take their incestuous relationship to the next level and get married. 

What makes it worse is that the mother, Betty Mbereko is now six months pregnant and expecting her son’s child, and her grandchild. 

Betty, 40,  has been a widow for the past 12 years and has been living with her 23-year-old son Farai Mbereko. She confirms that she is six month pregnant and that she has decided it is better to “marry” her son because she does not want to marry her late husband’s young brothers, whom she says are coveting her.

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, who in the past has called tolerance for gay rights “unnatural” and “filth,” has yet again made his views known surrounding recent political and social gains made by LGBT individuals.

Speaking on Tuesday at a rally at the Aerodrome Grounds in Mutare, Mugabe described LGBT people as “worse than pigs, goats and birds” and threatened to behead them, according to NewsDay.

“If you take men and lock them in a house for five years and tell them to come up with two children and they fail to do that, then we will chop off their heads. This thing (homosexuality) seeks to destroy our lineage by saying John and John should wed, Maria and Maria should wed… Obama says if you want aid, you should accept the homosexuality practice… We will never do that.”

8-Year-Old Marries 61-Year-Old Woman In Zimbabwe

The bride was 61 years old and the groom was an eight-year-old boy! Both families were present at the wedding of Sanele Masilela (8) and Helen Shabangu (61) and the bride’s husband and her five children were also at the wedding in Zimbabwe.

The boy’s aunt, Patience Masilela (46), explained why the wedding took place.

She said: “The boy was named after his late grandfather who never had a white wedding, so the ancestors told the boy to get married and he chose Helen to be his bride. The family took his desire to get married very seriously. They paid for the bride in March last year and spent a lot on the wedding because they believed it was what the ancestors wanted.”
