How Big Your Penis Needs To Be To Use An Extra Large Condom

Just how big does your manhood need to be in order to fit an XL condom?

It’s the question all men are secretly dying to find out – unless you already wear an XL when getting down and dirty, of course.

Condoms are all slightly different sizes but, according to The Condom Depot Learning Center, an average XL condom is 2.25 inches (5.7cm) in nominal width (which we’ll call width from now on), and 8.1 inches (20.6cm) in length.

If you’re kidding yourself into thinking you’re an XL when you’re actually ‘just’ a large (or anything else), you’re putting both yourself and person you’re sleeping with at risk of an STI – as condoms that are too large for you are at risk of slipping off without you even realising.

And really, the girl (or guy) is not going to know which size condom you’re wearing anyway – they’re not interested. So stay safe and work with what fits.
If you’re not in that bracket, there are some other sizes you need to know about:

For a small, you have 1.75 inches (4.4cm) in width and 6.3 inches (16cm) in length on average to work with. That’s when erect of course.

Regular condoms are an average of 2.0 inches (5.1cm) wide and 7.9 inches (20.1cm) long, large is 2.12 inches wide and 7.9 inches (20.1cm) long.

Yes, the large and the average condoms are usually the same length. It seems like girth really is the deciding factor.

But not all sizes are equal.

For example: Durex’s XL condoms are 2.2 inches (5.6cm) wide and 8.4 inches (21.3cm) long.

Trojan Magnum XL condoms are 2.1 inches (5.4cm) wide and 8.1 inches (20.5cm) long – so it’s always important to check before buying into a new brand.

And yeah, that’s some requirement.

But don’t worry, because the average erect penis size is actually 5.17 inches (13.1cm), according to journal BJU International – so don’t let these XL sizes intimidate you.
