Latif Ahmed was arrested by cops after reportedly setting his girlfriend alight.
Cops said the 24-year-old had been dating Sonia Bibi for several years.
Bibi had reportedly decided to break off the relationship.
It is thought she had told Ahmed she had fallen out of love with him.
But Ahmed apparently asked his ex to marry him.
Tragic Bibi suffered burns to 50 per cent of her body.
She was taken to hospital where doctors thought she would survive.
But the alleged victim got an infection and later died.
Ahmed was arrested and charged with murder.
