World’s Fastest Man Usain Bolts - Leaves Club Without Paying £10,000 Bar Bill

Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt accidentally dashed off without paying his £10,000 bar tab at an exclusive London nightclub, it has been reported.

The Jamaican athlete spent the night ordering bottles of Belvedere vodka and Dom Perignon as he partied at the newly-opened Drama, on the upmarket Park Lane, Mayfair, last weekend.

He is understood to have taken a turn behind the decks in the DJ booth as celebrities including actress Lindsay Lohan and model Daisy Lowe danced the night away.

But when it came time to head home, Bolt, 29, left the nightspot without settling his bill.

The world's fastest man soon realised his mistake and returned to the club the following day, where he presented staff with his credit card and apologised.
A source told the Daily Mirror Bolt's table was full of expensive drinks by the end of the night.

The source said: 'Usain was having such a great time enjoying himself on his night out, he completely forgot to settle up at the end.

'He must have just thought he'd sorted a tab to pay, as it was clearly a genuine mistake.

'As soon as he realised the following morning, he was mortified. He insisted on going back personally to apologise for the mishap.'

A spokesperson for the club told the newspaper that Usain is a 'great guy' and that he's 'more than welcome to come back at any time'.

This is not the first time that Bolt, who won his eleventh world championship gold last month, has been spotted at some of the city's favourite celebrity haunts.

After competing at the Sainsbury's Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium in east London in July, Bolt was spotted celebrating at the swanky Libertine nightclub.

And last summer, the sprinter was seen on the dancefloor at Mahiki - whose owner, Nick House, co-owns Drama - before moving on to Raffles, in Chelsea.
MailOnline has contacted Usain Bolt for comment.
