Someone’s been a naughty boy, but at least he appears to
have decent parents.
A kid in sixth grade, year
seven in the UK, has apologised to police after he prank called police.
He told officers he
was dared by his friends to do it but his parents found out.
So they ordered him to
write to Savannah-Chatham County’s 911 department, took him to the
emergency call centre, and made him read his apology to them.
What’s more he’s still
grounded for his behaviour.
He and his parents were
shown around the 911 call centre and he was educated on how his
prank affects genuine emergencies.
Lt. Jeff Olson said:
‘Things like this prove that we do make a difference, one person at a time.’
