A Nigerian student
has broken a 30-year-old mathematical equation at one of
the most prestigious Japanese universities!
Daily Independent Nigeria: A Nigerian student, Ufot Ekong
who is from Akwa Ibom State has become the first Nigerian to receive a First
Class degree and become the best overall student from Tokai University in
Tokyo, Japan since 1965.
The last time anyone
graduated with a similar Grade Points Average (GPA) was 50 years ago. Mr. Ufot
Ekong, a multi-talented Nigerian youth, has artistry in music, specializing in
Saxophone. He distinguished himself from the outset in the school when he won
the Japanese language best student award.
The self-sponsored student, who combined two jobs with studies,
won many other awards in the University, altogether numbering about six.
In addition, Ekong was able to solve a 30 year unresolved
mathematical equation and he did that in his first semester.
He speaks English, Yoruba, French and
Japanese. It is no overstatement to say Ufot Ekong is destined for greatness.
