Fake Police Man Rumbled After Pulling Over Real Police Officer

A man impersonating a police officer apparently got so into his role that he felt the need to pull someone over, not realising it was an off-duty cop – a real one.
The off-duty officer said that he was driving down Benita Fitzgerald Drive in Dumfries, Washington DC, when the car behind him began following him, eventually signalling for him to pull over.
When the car pulled up to make contact, the off-duty cop told the man he was a police officer, only for the man to speed off.

It was then the officer’s time to give chase and pull the man over, which he did, eventually forcing the suspect to flee on foot.
The man, identified as 27-year-old Shawn Michael Robinson, later handed himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
