2FACE AND WIZKID ANNOUNCE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONCERT… AS HENNESSY ARTISTRY GOES TO GHANA

Nigeria’s biggest pop icon, 2Face and the starboy, Wizkid are about to turn the Artistry season a notch higher as the headliners move out of Nigeria for the first time ever this weekend to deliver the biggest Hennessy Artistry international concert in the city of Accra, Ghana.

With two of Nigeria’s biggest music acts 2Face and Wizkid performing alongside buzzing Ghanaian artistes like 4x4, Edem, MzVee and South African duo, Mafikizolo, the Hennessy Artistry concert will hold this Saturday, October 18^th at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Lere Awokoya, Brand Manager for Hennessy Nigeria commented, “Our choice of bringing together these talented artistes from around Africa was influenced by the convergence of Africa and Africa’s taste in music. Just as Hennessy is consumed in different countries in Africa, Africa has gotten to point where countries are sharing similar music tastes. 2Face and Wizkid have visited a variety of African countries including Ghana repeatedly and this is evident in their relevance in the African continent today”

The 2014 Hennessy Artistry headliners, 2Face and Wizkid made their second club tour appearance yesterday, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Cosmo Lounge in Port Harcourt and left fans, lovers of Hennessy and music. They kicked off the show with a pulsating performance of their first banging collabo track, “Dance Go” as they mingled with guests present. Guests also surprised the headliners as they sang to the upbeat track line by line.

“Tonight was live… PH came out in their numbers to show us love. This year’s Hennessy Artistry is definitely one to remember as we still have a lot of amazing activities so stay tuned” 2Face said.

The superstars also performed some of their hit tracks including “Iheneme, Show you the Money, Eleniyan among other tracks to the delight of many present at the party.  Star Boy signee, L.A.X also joined Wizkid on stage to perform his monster track, Ginger.

On Friday, October 10^th, buzzing artiste and supporting act, Runtown also held it down at the Mayfair Lounge in Calabar alongside Beat FM’s Jimmie and a host of other local acts.

While 2Face and Wizkid shut down Ghana, the Hennessy Artistry team will also thrill Lagos this weekend with performances from Reminisce, Lil Kesh, Yung GreyC and the GripBoiz. DJ Caise and DJ Neptune will also be on ground as guest DJs. The club tours will hold on Friday, October 17^th at XFactor in Surulere and Saturday, October 18^th at Rhapsody’s in Victoria Island, Lagos.
