VIDEO: 50 Cent Says Eminem Is Helping Jay-Z “Rap Is Black Music And Eminem Is The Best… And He Is White”

Beginning August 26th, Music Choice—the multi-platform video and music network—will debut Chronicles, its first artist-focused episodic series on its linear TV channel Music Choice Play. The first season of Chronicles—a weekly, 30-minute introspective journey that chronicles the lives and careers of today’s hottest artists and the steps that ultimately led to their success—kicks off with award winning rapper, entrepreneur, actor and producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and premieres nationally Tuesdays, August 26th at 8pm ET/PT on Music Choice Play (check local listings).

50 Cent takes viewers on an unprecedented journey into his career, how he got started and what it is like to now be an independent artist and businessman. Shot on location at Music Choice studios and throughout NYC, 50 Cent schools viewers in a master class on his life and how the music business really works.
In its first season, Chronicles will feature 50 Cent, Jason Derulo, B.o.B., Fat Joe, DJ Cassidy, Aloe Blacc and Daddy Yankee. For seven consecutive weeks, Chronicles will give viewers unprecedented access and an up-close-and-personal look at some of the biggest names in music as they put themselves on the record and reflect on their journeys to become the artists they are today. Tune in to Music Choice Play on Tuesdays at 8pm ET/PT this fall to discover how B.o.B grew up and the influences that drove him; catch up with 50 Cent as he conducts a master class like discussion about the music business; see why Jason DeRulo can’t stop working and much more exclusive content and revealing interviews. Each episode will become available on Music Choice On Demand following its initial broadcast premiere on Music Choice Play.

Currently, 50 is gearing up for the release of his next studio album Street King Immortal and recording new music with G-Unit. He continues to make his mark in film and just finished shooting the boxing drama “Southpaw” with Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker and Rachel McAdams, directed by Antoine Fuqua. Additionally, 50 Cent serves as Executive Producer and has a reoccurring role on the record-breaking series “Power” on Starz and is an Executive Producer on SundanceTV’s “Dream School,” with season two premiering in the fall.
