Scores were feared dead Monday
afternoon at the premises of Kano School of Health Technology located along
Gida Murtala–B UK Road.
The high calibre improvised
explosive device went off aroud 2pm at a time the school is in session.
The blast appeared to come from a
parking lot next to the provost’s office of the School of Hygiene, a
post-secondary training school, said a teacher who requested anonymity. Kano
police spokesman Magaji Magia confirmed the blast but declined to provide
details until he reached the scene.
