Rita Ora collapsed on the
set of a photo shoot in Miami Beach, Florida on Monday. The singer was rushed
to hospital after appearing to pass out, according to onlookers. She was
seen being carried out of her makeup trailer and stretchered into an ambulance
before being taken to the emergency room where she was treated for 'heat
exhaustion and dehydration'. Dr David Farcy MD- Chairman of the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai
Hospital in Miami, told MailOnline in a statement: 'Rita Ora was treated for
heat exhaustion and dehydration at our hospital today. She was discharged and

The singer was spotted
looking unwell just before it occurred. Rita was shooting the new campaign for Madonna’s
Material Girl clothing line in 90-degree (30 degrees Celsius) heat when she
started feeling ill. A halt was called to the shoot and she was brought
back to her trailer before Miami ocean rescue and beach patrol officers arrived
on the scene.
After an hour inside the
trailer, Rita was still feeling sick so was brought to a local emergency room. The blonde star was clad in a dress from the collection and wearing
bright red lipstick for the shoot. Although she was wearing a hat at one stage to
protect her from the blazing sun, she was seen looking physically ill as she
held on to a car to remain upright.
