Olu Jacobs, Amaka Igwe, Obi Asika,Others celebrate New DG, National Broadcasting Commission, Emeka Mba.


The Nigerian Entertainment Business Group (NEBG) held a  reception and Cocktail session In honour of the newly appointed Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission - Prince Emeka Mba.


The Nigerian Entertainment Business Group (NEBG) is a strategic alliance of the key and leading business operators in the Creative Industries, which looks to building sound and robust foundations for current and future Business in the Creative Enterprise Sector.

Movie producer, Amaka Igwe, in her opening speech, thanked guests in attendance and gave a brief introduction on what NEBG  stands for. “The Nigerian Entertainment Business Group  is an alliance by key organisations who aim to bridge the gap between Africa’s media industry and investors.”

“Enjoy yourselves, talk business and have fun." she added.


The celebrant, Prince Emeka Mba  who was DG, Nigerian Film and Video Censors Board thanked guests for honouring him with their attendance. He further solicited for support from everyone on the journey ahead. “I’m here to say thank you and I pray that with your support, we can make Nigeria a broadcasting hub.”

“I also want to encourage us all to have a creative thought leadership that even if we can't help you, we won't stand in the way of progress” He added.

The exclusive event which held at the Four Points Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos had notable guests in attendance like veteran actor and wife, Olu and Joke Jacobs, General Manager; Consumer Marketing MTN, Kolawole Oyeyemi, Chairman, Art gallery owners Association of Nigeria Chief Frank Okonta, Former Director General,Nigerian Lottery Commission, Peter Igho, Ejike Asiegbu, Emeka Ossai, Igwe Gabosky, Obi Asika and IK Osakioduwa.
CEO, Soundcity,Tajuddeen Adepetu, Ego Boyo, Chris Ihidero, Chris Ubosi, Engr.  Lekan Onimole, Charles Igwe, Femi Ayeni and Seye Kehinde also graced the occasion.
