Missing Child From Winners Chapel Found 2 years After

It was a lingering crisis that rocked Bishop David Oyedepo-led Living Faith Church Worldwide, a.k.a Winners Chapel. Two years ago, Sunday, April 17, 2011, Samuel Eleng and his wife, Favour, had their two year-old twin daughter, baby Praise kidnapped from the children’s department of the Canaanland, Winners Chapel headquarters, Sango Ota, Ogun State on Easter .

Good news - The young girl as been found and was brought to church on Sunday by her parents. The girl, now around four years was reportedly sold to a woman in Kano.

Known as Praise, she was taken away from the woman after the man that kidnapped her confessed to committing the crime.

The kidnapper said he was struck with a strange disease after kidnapping Praise. He also became blind.

In addition to this, Tribune reports he said he was always seeing the founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, pursuing him with a sword in his dream, hence his decision to confess his sin.

The Bishop said his wife took the self-confessed kidnapper to a brançh of Winners Church.
