Tina Knowles Weighs In On Beyoncé’s “Mrs. Carter Show” Tour Costumes

Who knows better than mom? In a recent Grazia Daily interview, Tina Knowles gave her nuggets on her superstar daughter Beyoncé‘s “Mrs. Carter Show” costumes. And although Tina isn’t doing much designing for Bey since her Destiny’s Child days, she’s still one of Bey’s main consultants. And the question you’re probably all wondering: how does Bey get through all those costume changes? Mama Knowles says her daughter is the master of quick costume changes! Behind the scenes of the dazzling show is surprisingly calm,  and good news folks: Bey’s show starts right on time!

In the interview, Tina shares that the design team was going for a royal look:
“Regal and royal was the theme of the wardrobe. We took a cue from the O2′s commercial which had a queen theme. For the very first scene, Ralph & Russo created these amazing stage outfits because we wanted something over the top and queen-like but modern. They nailed it with the white outfit.”
Tina’s fave costumes are Bey’s Ralph & Russo suit and the tribal printed Kenzo romper!
