As the world comes to Africa in February, the city of Lagos will be afire with excitement, in anticipation of the very FIRST Social Media Week to hold on the African continent. During this weeklong groundbreaking event, the world will get to experience the very best of Nigerian culture, business, and technology and its interaction with its incredibly vibrant online social community.

Amidst the conferences, presentations, and workshops, participants at the 2013 Social Media Week Lagos will especially look forward to experiencing what promises to be one of the most unique events: the SMW Lagos Live series.

Taking place every night, SMW Lagos Live will give attendees an exciting way to close out their conference day.

The SMW Lagos Live series is partnering with the music industry’s biggest labels to bring the most amazing event every night of Social Media Week! Participants at SMW will be thrilled by the Now Muzik/Hypertek showcase (starring 2Face Idibia, Timi Dakolo, J Martins, and Dammy Krane) on Monday, Chocolate City Live (DJ Caise, MI, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Brymo, Pryse, Victoria Kimani, and Nosa) on Tuesday, EME all-stars(Banky W, Skales, Wizkid, Shaydee, Niyola, and DJ Xclusive) on Wednesday while the Channel O all stars will be holding down Thursday night, andBez, Freedom Hall and Naijazz all-stars will round off the series on Friday night.
