NIGERIA: How we arrested man with five human skulls, three others –STF



The special task force on Jos crisis had yesterday paraded a suspect, said to be a community leader   caught with five human skulls and three others. Spokesman of the force, Captain Salisu Mustapha who paraded the men disclosed that they were arrested during a cordon and search operation within Bokkos and Mangu local government areas of the state due to the incessant violence in the area.
He said on Friday at about 4:30 am men of the STF conducting the search, found  in the ceiling of suspect’s residence five human skulls while 2 rounds of 7.62 mm(special) ammo were found in the soak away behind the residence of the other suspects. According to the STF, on preliminary investigation, the suspect arrested with the human skulls had denied knowledge of their presence in his ceiling.
Captain Mustapha further disclosed that on the same day at about 6: 00pm, the STF personnel on patrol also arrested a suspect with one locally made rifle, a locally made pistol and 1 round of 7. 62 mm ammo at Foron Village of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state. Another suspect was arrested with locally made revolver and 5 cartridges.
The STF spokesman who refused to disclose the identity of the suspects or allow pressmen to interrogate them said they would be handed over to appropriate authorities for further investigation.
