Justin Timberlake: makes chart history in US with comeback single

JUSTIN Timberlake has made chart history in the US with his comeback single.

Suit & Tie has achieved the most first-week plays of any track in the history of the Billboard Pop Songs chart.

The song was played a total of 6045 times across US radio stations following its release on January 14.

Suit & Tie - which was produced by Timbaland and features rapper Jay-z - entered the chart at No14 becoming the highest ever entry for a male artist, just shy of Mariah Carey's Dreamlover which holds the highest-ever position having entered at No12 in 1993.
Previous record holder Lady Gaga earned 4,602 plays of her track Born This Way in its debut week.

Justin has been uplaoding images of himself in the studio with Timbaland to his website.
The pair are working on his third studio album - the first since 2006 release FutureSex/LoveSounds - which he has revealed will be called The 20/20 Experience and will be released later this year.
