Dan Brown Announces New Robert Langdon Book

Mystery lovers are in luck: a new Dan Brown novel will hit book shelves and e-readers around the country in May.
The best-selling author announced his next Robert Langdon novel today, revealing that it will be titled "Inferno" and will be influenced by Dante's classic by the same name.
The Da Vinci Code scribe said "Inferno" will be set in Italy and will feature Langdon - portrayed on the big screen by Tom Hanks - drawn into "a harrowing world centered on one of history's most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces."
"Although I studied Dante's Inferno as a student, it wasn't until recently that I came to appreciate the enduring influence of Dante's work on the modern world," Brown said, adding:

"With this new novel, I am excited to take readers on a journey deep into this mysterious realm…a landscape of codes, symbols, and more than a few secret passageways."
Both The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons have been made into movies, with The Lost Symbol currently in development.
