The students of Poise'
Graduate Finishing School at Poise Nigeria, Illupeju, Lagos have organized an
NGO project tagged FREETOWN. It is a one-day event aimed at giving away free
items to the less privileged.
It is not restricted to any
particular age grade. Children, teenagers and adults of both genders will
benefit from FREETOWN.
The recipients (Low/No
Income earners) will be issued customised paper money used in the purchase of
various items. The motive is to make them feel like they are actually shopping
for themselves, but in reality, they will be getting everything for free.
The event will be taking
place at the Youth/Skill Acquisition Centre, Gbagada on Sunday, 24th March,
2013 from 12noon.
