Complete Winners List Oscars 2016

When the 88th Annual Academy Awards kicked off on Sunday night in Hollywood, California, there was one question on everyone's mind: It was expected to be a big night for The Revenant, which led with 12 nominations.So how did Leo and his film do?

Chris Rock hosted Hollywood’s biggest night for the second time, which aired live on ABC from the Dolby Theater.

Hollywood Actor Danny DeVito On The Oscar’s Lack Of Diversity: “We Are A Bunch Of Racists”

Danny DeVito doesn't mess around while Speaking on the controversy surrounding the Oscars' lack of diversity while at the Sundance Film Festival, the actor said, "It’s unfortunate that the entire country is a racist country."

DeVito added, "We are living in a country that discriminates and has certain racial tendencies which -- racist tendencies -- so sometimes it’s manifested in things like this and it’s illuminated, but just generally speaking we’re a racist -- we’re a bunch of racists."

Actors Don Cheadle and Sam Neill also appear in the Associated Press video with DeVito, each expressing their disappointment in the lack of minorities among this year's nominees.

Kenyan beauty Lupita Nyong'o won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her first feature film. Her very first! Congrats Lupita, you definitely deserve an Oscar for that powerful performance as Patsy in 12 Years A Slave.

"When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid" Lupita said during her acceptance speech

Joan Rivers Flees Pre-Oscars Bash Covered in Icing After Being Caked in the Face

She's the Queen of Comedy, so onlookers were left wondering if what they'd just witnessed was for real or merely a set-up when Joan Rivers was caked in the face at a party on Friday night.

The comedienne and Fashion Police host fled the QVC Red Carpet Style event shortly after making a glamorous arrival looking worse for wear with white icing smeared all over her face, in her hair and down the front of her outfit.

While the star certainly appeared shocked and angry at the turn of events, it could quite easily have been a stunt played out for the comedy value, knowing her self-deprecating sense of humour, not to mention the fact that she has a jewellery line on the home shopping network.

2014 Oscar Nominees List

The 2014 Oscar nominees list is out and some African actors are really shining this year. Chiwetel Ejiofor got a Best Actor nomination for his role in '12 Years a Slave', while Kenyan beauty Lupita Nyong'o got a Best Supporting actress nomination for same movie. Somalian Barkhad Abdi got Best Supporting actor nomination for his role as the main villain in Captain Phillips.

American Hustle and Gravity lead this year's Oscars with 10 nominations each, followed by 12 Years a Slave with 9. Captain Phillips - 6. Dallas Buyers Club - 6. Nebraska - 6. Her - 5 and The Wolf of Wall Street - 5. See the full list of nominations after the cut..
