I Have Nothing To Do With Ibinabo Fiberesima’s Jail Sentence – Emeka Ike

Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, has replied critics who purportedly accused him of jubilating over Ibinabo Fiberesima’s imprisonment.
It would be recalled that Emeka Ike and Ibinabo have allegedly been in a feud over the position of president of the Actor’s Guild and only recently, Ike accused the actress of impersonating him by stating she was still the president of the union.
A court of Appeal on Saturday, upheld her five-year- jail sentence for the death of Dr. Giwa Suraj in a car accident 10 years ago, which left the actress devastated.

However, following her present predicament, critics have reportedly slammed the actor, accusing him of being behind it.

Make the roll call of controversial Nollywood stars, one name that will surely not be missing, apart from that of Tonto Dikeh, Emeka Ike, Cossy Orjiakor, Jim Iyke, is Rukky Sanda. The Lagos State-born actress cum producer, who reportedly funkified her real name, Rukayat Adesanya, to Rukky Sanda, is not new to controversies just like her pal, Tonto.

Even though she is not one of the busiest actresses in the Nigerian movie industry or her self-produced movie known to be a blockbusting film, she is one of the celebrities in the country who lives in one of the highbrow areas of Lagos and also cruises around with an expensive ‘mobile home’, which some of the veterans in the industry can’t boast of or have hope of acquiring.

Emeka Ike: “I don’t Support Gay Marriage, GOD does not like it”

Emeka Ike has stated categorically that he does not support any plan to legalise gay marriage in Nigeria, as it is against God’s will.

“Knowing our penchant for ‘copying’ others I want to plead with Nigerians not to encourage same sex marriage. I don’t hate gay but I don’t support gay marriage either. God does not want it, our culture forbids it. We should not encourage what is not right.
“This is about defending whatever is left of our culture. Nigeria should not go the way of UK, we are people of culture. I want our legislators to stick to their guns and not legalise what will be eroding our culture and make us godless people.”
