According to a survey of more than 1,200 Women’s Health readers, there are five sex positions that ladies wish you’d forget about.

Common manoeuvers like missionary and Doggy made the least favourites list, with women admitting the moves interfered with their ability to orgasm.

Here are the top five worst sex positions for women:

1. Doggy Style

It may have been voted Britain’s favourite sex position, but women don’t really like doing it Doggy.

Ladies confessed that it just doesn’t feel intimate enough, leaving them feeling lack lustre and less than turned on.

2. Cowgirl

This position, also known as Woman On Top, is killing her mood because she feels self-conscious.

Women worry about how their bodies look during sex and this one puts their stomach and boobs on show while he’s lying down below.

Boost her confidence by complimenting her body or switching positions to one where she feels her sexiest.

3. Reverse cowgirl

This is one of the more adventurous bedroom moves which may increase your arousal but unfortunately ladies aren’t that keen because it’s unlikely that they are going to climax.

Awkward angles and penis placement make it more effort than it’s worth for most women – and it’s one of the most dangerous sex positions for men as you risk damaging your junk.

4. Missionary

Bad news for guys with small schlongs – you just won’t be hitting the right spot for her in this man-on-top move.

Unfortunately missionary doesn’t do wonders for maximising your penis size – but if you put a slightly new twist on the old classic you can save your sex life.

Use the coital alignment technique (CAT) sex position – also known as “grinding the corn” – to boost her enjoyment.

CAT is pretty similar to missionary but the man is positioned slightly higher up so his erection points down to maximise clitoral stimulation.

According to a study published in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy, women were 56% more likely to orgasm from CAT when they couldn’t peak in missionary.

5. 69

Most ladies don’t like performing oral sex while they are receiving it because it means they can’t concentrate on their own enjoyment.

Also the 69 position lacks intimacy and can feel impersonal.
