MUSIC: Sola - Buga

Olusola EKun who goes by the stage name Sola aka Leobillz is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist.  He is a graduate of geography from the University of Lagos. 

Growing up listening to a lot of rap and hip hop music, he became passionate about music and all he wanted to do was make good music. He started music professionally in 2013. 

His first single ‘TGIF’ produced by samklef was released in 2013 under his record label Empyrean Emperor World. His new single titled BUGA produced by skelly beatz under the same label released in 2016. 

He says his inspiration comes from the king sunny Ade,Ebenezer obey, 2face, 2pac, jay z, 9ice, Olamide, dr dre, wizkid, Eminem, falz , Darey art alade and daddy showkey.

Sola established themselves throughout the Philadelphia area as a live band and then expanded their reputation nationally when Obey Your Brain released the instrumental post-rock band's debut album, The Bottom, in 2002. 

Comprised of five musicians -- drummer/multi-instrumentalist Chris Powell, percussionist Greg Giuliano, guitarist Dave Moylan, bassist Carly Van Anglen, and electric pianist Eric Wareheim -- the band began as the Science Of but later switched its name to Sola. ~ Jason Birchmeier.
