Sex is always fun the first few times, but how can you keep her satisfied in the sack in the long run?
A recent study found that 83% of people are happy with sex for the first six months, but after that only 27% of women said they were sexually satisfied.
So how can men improve their performance? A new study published in The Journal of Sex Research reveals all....
The study found that couples who gave and received more oral sex, experienced regular orgasms and had sex more reported feeling happier in their relationships.
While acting out crazy sexual fantasies and experimenting with different sex positions also kept the lust alive.
Setting the mood with lighting or sending saucy texts earlier in the day, are also great ways to keep the spark alive.
Women take a lot longer to get warmed up so getting her thinking about sex earlier in the day will help prolong the build-up.
The study asked more than 38,747 married or cohabiting couples in the US who had been with their partner for at least three years about their sex lives.
The American team also discovered affection is extremely important when it comes to satisfying sex.
Those who said “I love you” and kissed and cuddled in bed reported being happier with their sex lives than those who didn't.
David Frederick, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology at Chapman University and lead author of the study, said: “Almost half of satisfied and dissatisfied couples read sexual self-help books and magazine articles, but what set sexually satisfied couples apart was that they actually tried some of the ideas.”
So if you want to keep her happy in the sack, tell her you love her, experiment and don't forget the importance of foreplay.
And when it comes to what women look for in a potential boyfriend, the answers might shock you.
It seems men can put down the dumbbells and grab another biscuit, because women don't want tall, handsome, ripped guys (apparently).
The Thought Catalogue asked ladies what they find attractive in the opposite sex and here are some of their stranger preferences
"Out of shape - I don't like when a guy is too fit," admitted 30-year-old Mel.
While Tierra, 28, says she doesn't like tall men. In fact, she wants someone smaller than her.
"I actually like guys my height or shorter. So many people are shocked by that, but for some reason I really like the way it feels," she said.
"Guys who feel 'compact' if that makes any sense. I've always liked the slightly muscular, shorter guy look. For the record I'm 5ft 7."
Nicole, 28, admitted that she loves skinny guys. "I love really f****** bony guys. Collarbones, ribs, hipbones, all of it. I want to feel like I'm cuddling with a skeleton. Lol... seriously," she said.
"I love guys with lots and lots of chest hair. If I can seriously braid that s***, sign me up."
A recent study also revealed that women are less likely to cheat on men with small penises.
Yes, that's right – the larger your schlong, the more likely your partner will be dissatisfied in the bedroom.
Who knew being fatter, shorter and lacking in the trouser department was a good thing.Daily Star.
