Paramedic Claimed He Was Gay To Get Into Bed With Women – Then Raped Them

A paramedic who claimed he was gay and then raped three women has been jailed and barred from ever working in his profession again.
Christopher Bridger, 26, conned his way into bed with three women after nights of heavy drinking by telling them he was gay – and then raped them.
And Bridger, who was branded a ‘sexual predator’ by a judge at Guildford Crown Court, has been jailed for 12 years and barred from ever working in the medical profession again.
‘The panel has heard that the offences were committed against three vulnerable young women who were known to the registrant as friends and colleagues including a student paramedic,’ said Nicola Bastin of the Health and Care Professionals Council.

‘This represented a serious breach of trust.’
The court heard how he apparently tried to get away with raping a drunk student paramedic by breaking down in tears and telling her ‘I just want to like girls’ after she fought him off.
A lesbian colleague of Bridger described how she awoke following a Christmas party to find Bridger sexually assaulting her and pleasuring himself as her girlfriend lay asleep next to them.
Another colleague said she was attacked after letting him stay the night at her house following a dinner.
The attacks took place over four years when Bridger, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, was working for South East Coast Ambulance Service in Surrey.
