Mother Mary Statue Seen ‘Crying’

This Mother Mary statue has been captured on camera ‘crying’.
The statue, which was bought during a trip to the Philippines, was said to have first been seen crying at a house in Penampang, Malaysia, on Monday.
The tears were spotted by homeowner Michael George’s 14-year-old son Melvin.

The 52-year-old told a local newspaper: ‘I didn’t believe it at first until I actually saw the tears. I was astonished as I never expected anything like this. I felt it was something miraculous.
‘It was only recently that we brought the statue to the house and had it blessed by Archbishop John Wong (the head of the Sabah Catholic church in Sabah) when he celebrated mass at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church at Kampung Kobusak on Sunday.’

Hundreds of visitors has since flocked to see the crying statue for themselves as words spread on social networking site WhatsApp.
A local assistant parish priest Father Jefferi Gumu said they would be assessing the situation to see if it really was a miracle.
