Video: Schoolchildren Perform Astonishingly Good Led Zeppelin Cover

When Led Zeppelin wrote their much-loved hit Kashmir in the 1970s, its unlikely they considered the possibility that a bunch of school kids would be adapting it for xylophones some 40 years later.
And yet here we are, and there they have. A few months ago the Louisville Leopard Percussionists, a performing ensemble of 7-to-12-year-old musicians, uploaded this jaw-dropping medley of Led Zeppelin songs.
After opening with a storming version of Kashmir, the group then segues into equally impressive takes on The Ocean and Immigrant Song.

While the video has been online since November, it’s audience expanded massively after it was posted on Jimmy Page’s official Facebook page on Friday, with a message saying: ‘Too good not to share. Have a rocking weekend!’
