An eight-year-old boy wowed travellers at St Pancras station in London with a recital of Frédéric Chopin’s ‘Fantaisie Impromptu’.
What was even more impressive was Jay Lewington taught himself how to play the piano, with the help of a few YouTube videos.
The commuters didn’t need to know that to appreciate the music, with one happy member of the public even giving him £10 after the performance moved her to tears.
Jay’s mum Camille Lewington was happy with the reaction the video received after uploading it on YouTube.
‘Hi, Jay’s mum here. Just wanted to say thank you from Jay for some of the lovely comments he has had – I’ve just read some of them out to him and his face lit up,’ she wrote.
The memorable performance took place last June.
