Terrifying footage has captured the moment when swings on a 200ft ride hit each other with thrill-seekers on board, at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland.
Revellers at the Christmas event captured the video of the Sky Swing on Friday, with passengers left stranded on the ride for 10-15 minutes.
It is believed that the incident occurred after a large gust of wind caused empty carriages to blow into occupied chairs, causing the ride to automatically shut down.
While it is unknown whether any passengers were injured, Cardiff Council have assured worried visitors that it has sought assurances that steps will be taken to prevent a similar incident.
