Man Arrested For The Sexual Assault Of 101-Year-Old Woman

NYDailyNews: An accused Milwaukee rapist with an outstanding warrant for his arrest said he never planned to sexually assault a 101-year-old woman, otherwise he would have brought a condom with him.
Police used a new DNA technique to track down the Milwaukee beast on Friday after identifying a familial match already in the Wisconsin law enforcement database.
Antoine D. Pettis, 20, faces nearly 60 years in prison after being charged with burglary, aggravated battery and sexual assault in the Labor Day weekend attack, Milwaukee police said.
Pettis said he only planned to steal property, but attacked the woman once he saw her on the bed inside her home on Milwaukee’s north side, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
“He did not plan the sexual assault or he would have worn a condom,” Pettis told police, according to the complaint.
The DNA showed similar traits to a male relative of Pettis’ that was already stored in the database, and the department’s Sensitive Crimes Division ID’d Pettis, police said.
Pettis allegedly slapped the woman several times, grabbed the victim’s wrists, flipped her on her stomach and sexually assaulted her, the Journal Sentinel reported.
Police found the woman bloodied and treated her at a local hospital.
