Now I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger, but Kim Kardashian's
wedding to Kanye West this weekend is highly likely to be the most extravagant
of her nuptials so far.
But today she ties the knot with the 'Louis Vuitton Don' (as rap star Kanye likes to refer to himself) at Forte Belvedere in Florence.
The E! Television Network, which broadcasts reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is footing the lion's share of the bill.
However, it is reported that 'Kimye' (the collective noun for Kim and Kanye) have pumped in $7m (£4m) of their own money.
The soon-to-be Mrs Yeezy (Yeezy is another of Kanye's preferred nicknames) is believed to have spent $2m on her wedding dress - but she is also said to have ordered two other gowns and will make her decision at the last moment.
Sarah Burton - the woman behind Kate Middleton's wedding dress - is the hot favourite to be the chosen designer.
Hard facts are pretty scarce, but here's what else is being reported in the Hollywood press.
:: Guests have been treated to a private tour of the Palace of Versailles before the wedding day.
Kim and Ye (yes, another nickname) were reportedly prevented from hiring out the humble venue because they are not considered "distinguished enough" to marry there.
:: A wedding rehearsal dinner is costing $650,000.
:: The food for the wedding itself will cost $2,000 per head. The guest list is growing all the time - apparently it stands at 3,000 so far. So that is $6m (£3.5m) on grub.
:: Another $200 for a live performance by the local pub band. Not really. More like $2,000,000 for Beyoncé and Jay Z to perform a 'short set' together.
There will no doubt also be a hefty fee for singer Lana Del Rey ... And Will Jay Z be best man?
:: Security will cost $3m, flowers $1m, and fireworks $2m.
:: After the wedding, the party will move six miles down the road to a villa called Corsini Villa of Costello.
Other expenses for the celebrity couple include alcohol, venue hire, accommodation, transport, magicians and other forms of entertainment.
Let's hope money can buy happiness.
