A
Colombian politician has slammed pop star Shakira for "promoting
lesbianism" and instilling moral decay in her latest sexy music video with
Rihanna.
Marco
Fidel Ramirez has called upon Colombia's National Television Authority to ban
"Can't Remember To Forget You" clip in Shakira's native country.
The
Public Option party councilor, from the capital Bogota, said the video
"damages the moral character of the youth of Bogota, Colombia and Latin
America." More after the cut:
The
self-styled "defender of morals and principles" labeled the (HOT!) Shakira-Rihanna video as reference point for a
society in moral decay in this world.

Ramirez
said the pair should be ashamed
with the video, but also the song in general, which he claims also promotes
tobacco use, stealing and killing.
"Our
Shakira with her erotic video is promoting tobacco usage and has become the
worst example for our youth," he wrote on his Twitter feed.
"Shakira's
new video is a shameless case for lesbianism and immorality. It is a danger to
children," he Tweeted, using the hashtag #PeligroVideoShakira.
That
translates to "Dangers of Shakira's Video."
Ramirez, who said the video was "simply gross" and nothing
more than an "apology" for lesbians, added: "It sends a
provocative message to weak people."
Fearing
that the culture wlll be "polluted and induced to practice
(lesbianism)," he wants it banned in the city, country ... pretty much all
over the world.
Good luck
with that. Shakira, 37, and Rihanna, 25, have already racked up more than 62
million YouTube views with their racy, catchy collaboration.
It begins
with Shakira singing about mistakes with love, before she and Rihanna gyrate
against a wall, cavort on a bed and sensuously smoke cigars.
Watch it
below and begin to decay morally!!!!
