[Video & Photos] Terrifying Moment Daredevil hangs from Docks Crane by one hand

From 250ft up, it looks utterly terrifying. But that didn't stop daredevil climber James Kingston who filmed himself scaling a giant crane in Southampton's Ocean Village. At one point, he dangles one-handed from the top before carefully edging along a narrow steel beam. 

In footage that appears to have been filmed with a chest-mounted camera, he is seen standing on the crane, with the city below him.

Mr Kingston, who describes himself as a freerunner, said: 'I chose this crane simply because of how high it is. Its very rare to have such high structures in my city so I couldn't pass off the opportunity to climb it and get some awesome shots.

This is the unbelievable moment a Saudi man is filmed texting on his phone from the bonnet of a car as it speeds along a motorway at 50mph.

The fearless stunt shows the man stretching out, relaxing and even kicking his feet in the air as he sits on the front of vehicle.

The incredible footage has quickly become a hit online and has been viewed more than 1.1million times since it was posted on YouTube last week.

This is where slaves were sold and shipped to the Americas - never to see Africa again. "We call it Point-of-No-Return because past there you will not see Africa again," says CornerStone, showing us the port where the slaves boarded the slave ships for the Americas. BattaBox reports from the Badagry Slave Museum in Nigeria which is currently undergoing rehabilitation and you can see the well that was dug by the slaves in 1847. Figures vary considerably, but it is estimated that nearly 3 million slaves were taken from the West African region (Togo, Benin, Cameroon, etc), particularly in & around Nigeria - 11 million slaves were taken from Africa as a whole by European and Arab slavers. An estimated 30% of all slaves sold from Africa - came from the Nigeria.

OJB Jezreel Diagnosed With Kidney Problem

One of Nigeria's most talented music producers, OJB Jezreel is down with kidney related disease. The ace music beats-maker, who produced 2Face's 'African Queen' hit song, is said to be receiving treatment from a specialist at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

As reported, OJB has been suffering from the ailment for some months but kept it away from the press. We gathered that money is not the problem but getting to get a matching kidney donor to keep his survival.

The source also disclosed that OJB needs a transplant and therefore needs a kidney for the transplant.  What is not clear is if both kidneys are affected. This veteran producer needs your/our help. CBN Reacts to PREMIUM TIMES Report on Governor Sanusi

The Central Bank of Nigeria has sent a rebuttal to PREMIUM TIMES faulting the paper’s report which accused its governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, of abuse of office.

‘My Daddy Raped Me 4 Times’ He Wanted To Get Me Pregnant' - A 14-year Old Narrates

A 14-year old Primary 5 pupil who lived alone with her father at Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, has told the police at the Bar Beach Division, Victoria Island Lagos, that her father, Ikoro Nwafor John, 57, raped her four times between March and May 2013 after giving her N200 to go to school every day.

The police at the Bar Beach Division arrested John and arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court, Lagos, on a one count charge of allegedly forcefully having unlawful and indecent carnal knowledge of a minor without her consent.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges, but the police prosecutor, Supol E.C. Ekuma opposed his oral bail on the ground that the offence the accused committed is not an ordinary one.

Court Sentences Banker to Death for Killing Wife

An Abia State High Court has sentenced a banker, Mr. Theophilus Ajakaiye, to death by hanging for killing his wife, Theodora. The convict allegedly murdered his wife on October 12, 2009 at Azumini Ndoki in the Ukwa Judicial Division of Abia.

The charge read, “The accused person is charged with one-count of murder contrary to Section 319 (1) of the Criminal Code Vol. 11, Cap. 30 Laws of Eastern Nigeria, 1963, applicable in Abia State.” Until her death, Theodora was an employee of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

The legal battle between the deceased’s family and the accused began soon after the alleged killing until  the judgment recently.

Bollywood Actress Jiah Khan, Commits Suicide

Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, 25, was found dead at her Mumbai home last night. Her mother discovered her hanging body, according to police, who say they haven’t found a suicide note, the BBC reports. A hospital post-mortem is set to investigate the cause of Khan’s death, police say. The New York-born, London-raised actress’ death, stunned Bollywood colleagues.

One in particular had a lot to say: “Never ever seen a debutant actress with more spunk and more spirit than Jiah,” tweeted director Ram Gopal Varma.

But he didn’t stop there; more tweets:

“The last time I met her jiah told me that everyone around her makes her feel like a failure”
“Inspite of being highly appreciated in [the film] Nishabd [and] being a part of hugely successful Ghazni and Houseful she had no work for the last 3 years”

About six weeks after their divorce case was settled in court, a judgment was entered in Los Angeles Superior Court to put the final nail in this seemingly never-ending coffin.

People first reported the news, which was the very last legal hurdle for the estranged couple. Terms were not disclosed, though Kim and Kris did sign a prenuptial agreement and sources had previously said he will receive none of his demands.

Kardashian, of course, has moved on with Kanye West and is expecting a baby next month. Humphries just continues to suck, both on the basketball court and off.

Goodluck Jonathan Officially Declares Boko Haram a Terrorist Organisation

President Goodluck Jonathan has formally approved the proscription of Boko Haram and authorized the gazetting of an order declaring the group’s activities as acts of terrorism.

The order, which has been gazetted as the Terrorism (Prevention) (Proscription Order) Notice 2013, affects both Boko Haram (Jamaatu Ahlis-Sunna Liddaawati Wal Jihad) and Jama’atu Ansarul Muslimina Fi Biladis Sudan (Ansaru). The order was approved by President Jonathan pursuant to section 2 0f the Terrorism Prevention Act, 2011 (As Amended).

A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Rueben Abati, said this “officially brings the activities of both groups within the purview of the Terrorism Prevention Act and any persons associated with the two groups can now be legally prosecuted and sentenced to penalties specified in the Act”.

Myla Sinanaj Accuses Kim Kardashian of Cheating with Kanye West

Myla Sinanaj dated Kris Humphries after he split from Kim Kardashian.
She allegedly received a check from Kim after testifying in the reality star's divorce case, went to cash it on Friday… and proceeded to go on a Twitter rant that accused Kardashian of cheating on Reggie Bush with Kanye West.

"U know what finding this check just pi**ed me off!" Sinanaj wrote. "truth is my a** didn't want to go to her dumb deposition so i said i have no $ for gas, but that didn't stop her from mailing me a check that's how bad she wanted me to go! which i don't understand WHY."
