The select
team of judges at the grand finale of the Nigeria’s Got Talent Lagos auditions
were fooled for a minute when super talented, 13 year old Korede Odukale
Albert, stepped into the venue dressed as the legendary Nigerian singer
and saxophonist Lagbaja, The
13-year-old student fully costumed and masked in a bright green and gold
native attire shun like a million stars showcasing an exceptional performance
with his saxophone and stunning the judges as he performed ‘Nothing
for You’ by Labgaja with his saxophone.
Korede
brimming with confidence noted that Lagbaja’s music and style was a great
influence on his style. “I love Lagbaja’s music, style and uniqueness
which is the reason behind my costume and song choice.”
“I
learnt the saxophone through a private teacher 3 years ago and since then there
has been no going back for me, the young lad confirmed.
