Raymond V, the singer's eldest son with his ex-wife
Tameka Foster (their youngest son Naviyd Ely is 4), was taken to the
hospital on Monday after a pool accident at the singer's home. According to
TMZ, Usher's son attempted to retrieve a toy in a pool drain when
his arm got stuck. A supervising adult as well as a maid tried unsuccessfully
to rescue him.
Thankfully, according to
the report, two male employees working inside the home eventually freed the
child, who was given CPR and then rushed to an Atlanta-area hospital, where
both Tameka and Usher are said to be keeping vigil at his side.
Only last
July, the family suffered a
tragedy when Foster's 11-year-old son Kile Glover died after being
struck by a jet ski while on an inner tube in Georgia's Lake Lanier.
